Dark Siren Alebrije – Zapotec Tlanchana – Native Carving Signed by Jesús Morales

Wow! Look at this dark siren (or “Tlanchana”) from the workshop of master alebrije artisan Don Jesus Morales! She is incredible. Equal parts alluring and terrifying, she is always the first piece that people are drawn to when they enter her area. She is a truly haunting piece. She is one of a kind, and there will never be another.

This piece is 12.25 inches tall, and is 9 inches wide and 4.25 inches deep, and features several mystical symbols on her hand ands and body. She comes with a certificate from the shop of Señor Morales that includes a photograph of her, as well as the shop’s phone number and name.

We have commissioned many more pieces from Señor Morales, as his style and craftsmanship along with his gentle and friendly manner has really endeared him to us. His excitement for his traditional art combined with his talent make this young artist one that is destined to become incredibly popular and collectible in the years to come.
